Also includes a handwritten biography of his mother, Emma Seraphine West Smith, and two handwritten historical articles, one describing the building of the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad in New Mexico, and the other relating Indian stories.

Arizona Mormon pioneer. Mons Larson was born in Sweden in June, 1823. He married Elna Malstrom in 1852. They were baptized into the Mormon Church in 1856, and emmigrated to the United States in 1859.
